Signs the spreadsheet has become the leak
- Two versions of it exist and nobody is sure which is current.
- Someone spends an afternoon a week turning it into a report.
- Clients ask for information that is in it, by email, repeatedly.
- A job was missed because a row was filtered out.
What we build
- A job trackerEvery job with its stage, owner, files, deadline and money. The spreadsheet, with rules.
- Views per roleThe crew sees today's jobs. The office sees what is waiting on a client. You see the week.
- Automatic hand-offsA stage change sends the next person their task and the client a status update.
- A client portalQuotes, approvals, invoices, files and reorders behind one login.
- The dashboard tileJobs in progress, overdue, and waiting on someone, live.
How we keep it small
Internal tools fail when they try to do everything. We build on Airtable, Notion or a small database with a simple interface, start with the one process that hurts most, and add the next only after the first has replaced its spreadsheet. You own the data and can export it at any time.
