Website Design for Dental Offices
A dental website that answers what new patients check first and lets them book a first visit from their phone.
Websites for dental offices.
People choose a dentist on their phone, often in a few minutes. They search, open three or four practices and look for the same things: whether you take their insurance, whether you are accepting new patients, how soon they can get in and what the office looks like. A site that hides the insurance list in a PDF, or sends every visitor to a generic contact form, loses them to the practice that answers those things on the first screen.
We build dental websites around that decision: a first screen with the plans you accept and a new-patient booking button, service pages for cleanings, implants, clear aligners and emergencies, photos of your team and treatment rooms, and tracking on every call, form and booking. The site is mobile-first and fast, and it is yours: the domain, the hosting account and the content. A marketing site usually goes live in two to four weeks, at a price fixed before work starts.
Planned dental searches happen over a few evenings. Someone who moved, changed jobs or got new insurance looks for a dentist on their phone after work. They read reviews, check whether you are in network, look at photos of the office and read the dentists' bios. They book with the practice that makes the next step easiest, often online and well outside office hours.
Urgent searches look different. A cracked tooth or a throbbing molar sends people searching for an emergency dentist with one hand on their jaw. They read very little. They look for same-day appointments, your hours, whether you see patients without insurance, and a call button they can tap. The practice that shows those on the first screen is the one they contact.
What the site needs to win the job.
Pages a dental office site usually needs: New patients, Insurance and payment options, Emergency dentistry, Cleanings and exams, Dental implants, Clear aligners, Crowns and bridges and Children's dentistry.
- The insurance you accept, on the first screenA plain list of the plans you are in network with, and what you offer out-of-network and uninsured patients. It is the first thing a new patient checks, so it should not live in a PDF.
- New-patient booking that works at 10pmAn online booking link or a short request form for new-patient exams, so people researching after work can pick a time while they are still on the page.
- An emergency page with a call buttonA page for toothaches, broken teeth and lost crowns, with your same-day policy, your phone number and the after-hours instructions your team writes.
- A page for each treatment people search forCleanings and exams, fillings, crowns, implants, clear aligners, whitening and children's dentistry, each with what a visit involves and who it is for.
- Fees and plans for patients without insuranceIf you offer an in-house membership plan, a new-patient special or financing, a clear page gives uninsured patients a reason to call instead of assuming you are out of reach.
- Your team and your rooms, with reviews nearbyPhotos of the dentists, hygienists and treatment rooms, and recent reviews near the booking button. Nervous patients want to see who they will meet before they commit.
- Tracking on every call, form and bookingEach one is tied to the page and search that produced it, so you can see which treatments bring in new patients and which pages only get visits.
What the free audit checks.
- Whether the insurance plans you accept can be read on a phone without opening a PDF
- Whether a new patient can book or request a first visit in a few taps, outside office hours
- Whether your emergency number and same-day policy appear on the first screen of the emergency page
- Whether the treatments you want more of, such as implants or clear aligners, each have a page with a title and description search engines can read
- Whether calls, forms and online bookings are tracked, so you can see which pages bring in new patients
- How quickly your homepage loads on a phone over a mobile connection

Questions, answered
How long does a new dental website take?
A marketing site for a dental practice usually goes live in two to four weeks. Most of that time goes into the content only your team can give us: the insurance list, the treatments you want to grow, photos of the office and staff bios. The timeline and the price are fixed in the proposal before any work starts.
Who owns the website and the domain?
Your practice does. The domain, the hosting account, the analytics and the content are set up in your name, and we work inside those accounts. If you later move to another developer or a dental marketing company, you take everything with you, because it was always yours to begin with.
Can new patients book online from the site?
Yes. The booking button can hand off to the online scheduling tool you already use, such as NexHealth, or open a short request form that goes straight to your front desk. We set it up so new-patient exams, emergencies and existing-patient cleanings each start in the right place.
Will the website get us to the top of Google?
No one can honestly promise a ranking, and we do not. We build the basics search engines expect: a fast, mobile-first site, a page for each treatment and the neighborhoods you serve, clear titles and descriptions, and a sitemap. Your reviews and Google Business Profile matter too, and the audit points out what to tighten there.
Do you write the treatment pages?
We draft them in plain language: what a treatment is, who it is for, what a visit looks like and what it costs if you publish fees. Your dentist reviews every clinical statement before anything goes live, because the practice is responsible for what the site says about care.
Do patient intake forms go on the website?
We link to the new-patient forms in your practice software or forms tool. We do not collect health history through a general website form, because that information belongs in a system your practice has approved for it. The site's own booking form asks only what the front desk needs to call back.
Where is the site hosted, and who makes changes?
It is hosted wherever suits the platform we build on, such as WordPress, Webflow, Framer, Squarespace or plain code, in an account in your practice's name. Small edits like hours, holiday closures or a new hygienist's photo can be made by your team, or you can ask us.
Can you keep our insurance list up to date?
The insurance list sits on its own page and in a short version on the homepage, as plain text so it reads well on a phone and in search. When you join or leave a network, your team can change it in a couple of minutes, or send us the change and we update it.
