Website Design for Plumbers
A plumbing website that turns emergency and planned-work searches into calls and booked jobs, with one-tap calling on every page.
Websites for plumbers.
People look for a plumber in two very different moods. One is standing in an inch of water, searching on a phone, and will call the first company that looks open and nearby. The other is planning a water heater replacement or a bathroom remodel, reading reviews on a laptop and comparing a few sites. A plumbing website has to work for both: fast and obvious for the first, detailed and trustworthy for the second.
We build plumbing sites around that split. Every page has a call button that stays on screen. Emergency service, drain cleaning, water heaters and repiping each get their own page, along with the areas you serve. Forms and calls are tracked so you can see which pages bring in work. You own the site and the accounts, the price is fixed before we start, and a site usually goes live in two to four weeks.
Emergency plumbing searches mostly happen on a phone, often late at night or early in the morning, and the person searching is not reading. They scan for a name, a review count, a sign that you answer now and a button to call. A page that loads slowly or hides the number in a menu loses the call to the next result.
Planned work is different. A homeowner pricing a tankless water heater, a repipe or a sewer line replacement takes days to decide. They compare reviews, look for photos of finished jobs, check that you are licensed and insured, and want to know whether you offer financing. That visit usually happens on a laptop, and a clear estimate request wins it.
What the site needs to win the job.
Pages a plumber site usually needs: Emergency plumbing, Drain cleaning, Water heater repair and replacement, Leak detection and slab leaks, Sewer line repair and camera inspection, Repiping, Fixture and garbage disposal installs and Service areas.
- Click-to-call on every screenA call button that stays visible on phones, so someone with a leak does not have to scroll to find your number.
- Emergency hours stated up frontIf you take after-hours calls, the first screen says so, with your service area beside it, so the person searching knows calling is worth it.
- A page for each serviceDrain cleaning, water heaters, leak detection and sewer lines each get a page that answers what people search, instead of one long list of services.
- Proof near the call buttonRecent reviews, your license number and photos of real jobs, like a finished water heater install or a new cleanout, placed where the decision happens.
- An estimate request for planned workA short form for water heater, repipe and remodel jobs that asks for the address, the job and a photo, so you can scope it before the visit.
- Area pages for where you actually workPages for the towns and neighborhoods you serve, written for people there, so the site is relevant when they search nearby.
- Call and form trackingEvery call and form is tied to the page it came from, so you know whether the water heater page or the drain page is bringing in jobs.

Questions, answered
How long does a plumbing website take?
A marketing site usually goes live in two to four weeks. The timeline is set in the proposal before work starts, along with a fixed price. Most of the time goes into the service pages, since each one should answer what homeowners actually ask about drains, water heaters or leaks, and into getting your reviews, license details and job photos in place.
Who owns the site and the domain?
You do. The site, the domain, the hosting account and the analytics are in your company's name. If you ever stop working with us, everything stays with you and keeps running. We build on whatever fits the job: WordPress, Webflow, Framer, Squarespace or plain code.
Where is the site hosted?
Hosting depends on the platform that fits, and the account sits in your name, so you are never locked in. We set the site up to load fast on a phone signal, which matters most when someone is searching with a leak in front of them and will not wait for a slow page.
Can I update my service area or prices myself?
Yes. Depending on the platform, you or your office can edit text, add a town to the service area list, swap in new job photos or post a seasonal offer, like a water heater flush special, without waiting on us. We show you how before handing the site over.
Will a new website get me to the top of Google?
No one can honestly promise rankings, and we do not. We do the groundwork: clear titles and descriptions, a page for each service and area you cover, fast load times on a phone and a sitemap. That gives search engines and homeowners a clear picture of what you do and where, and the tracking shows which pages bring calls.
Can the site book jobs straight into my field service software?
Yes, where your tool allows it. If you use Housecall Pro, Jobber, ServiceTitan or Workiz, the site can hand requests to its online booking or request form, so new jobs land where your dispatcher already looks. If you schedule by phone, the site can put calls and estimate requests first instead.
Should emergency plumbing have its own page?
Usually, yes. Someone searching late at night for help with a burst pipe needs a page that says you answer now, shows your hours and area, and puts the call button first. Planned work like water heater installs reads better with more detail, so splitting them lets each page do one job well.
